Privacy Policy

Klyp (“we”, “us”) operates the Klyp clipping service. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account data — your email, name, and password hash when you sign up.
• Uploaded content — videos and source URLs you upload, plus the clips and transcripts we generate from them.
• Usage data — minutes processed, clips created, plan and billing status.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic device information collected automatically.

How we use it

• To provide the clipping service and render your output.
• To enforce credit balances, plan limits, and billing.
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and keep the service stable.
• To send transactional email (signup, password reset, payment receipts).

Third-party processors

We use the following processors strictly to deliver the service. None of them sell your data.

• Supabase — authentication, database, storage.
• Stripe — subscription billing and card processing.
• Anthropic, Groq, OpenAI — AI inference for clip ranking and transcription.
• Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time. Email klyp.clipping@gmail.com and we'll act within 30 days.

Retention

Source videos are deleted from storage 30 days after processing. Generated clips remain available while your account is active and are deleted within 30 days of account closure. Billing records are kept for 7 years to comply with Swedish accounting law.

Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
